About Groupe CAT
Groupe CAT is an international specialist in vehicle logistics, operating across a broad range of automotive and transport-related services. The UK business is entering an important period of development and transformation, making this an interesting time to join.

The Role
You will act as a trusted adviser to the UK management team, translating business priorities into effective people solutions. Your remit will include:

Partnering with managers and leaders on the full range of HR matters
Delivering the UK learning and development agenda
Leading the apprenticeship strategy, including the Compound-to-Transporter Driver pathway
Owning the UK Driver Recruitment programme alongside wider recruitment
Developing management capability through leadership development
Strengthening employee engagement and experience
Advising on employee relations, employment law and HR policy

Leading the appraisal and salary review processes
Supporting organisational change, including the RT2030 transformation agenda
Monitoring HR KPIs, workforce costs and productivity
Managing external HR partners and suppliers
Collaborating with central and international HR teams on Group-wide projects

What We're Looking For
You will be an established HR professional, likely with experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager, combining strong technical capability with commercial pragmatism and excellent stakeholder skills. You will bring:

Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS guidance
Broad HR experience across employee relations, recruitment, development, engagement and performance
Experience of supporting organisational change
Confidence managing complex employee relations matters
Experience working with trade unions and/or employee representative bodies
Strong influencing skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
The ability to work autonomously while collaborating with an international HR function

Experience in logistics, transport, automotive or manufacturing, particularly supporting a large frontline workforce, would be advantageous. CIPD Level 5 or 7, apprenticeship experience and French language skills are desirable.

Why This Role?
This is a chance to take ownership of a newly created UK HRBP mandate, with visibility, autonomy and access to senior stakeholders and the wider international HR community. It suits someone who enjoys being close to the business, trusted by managers and able to turn HR strategy into practical outcomes.
