Group HR Adviser

Location: Poole, Dorset

Hours: 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday & 8:30am – 4pm Friday

Salary: Up to £45,000 (D.O.E)

We are seeking a professional and adaptable Group HR Adviser for our client based in Poole. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR generalist to provide expert guidance across the entire employee lifecycle within a positive and growing corporate environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Group Head of HR, you will be a key member of the Human Resources department. You will act as a trusted confidante, providing professional support and advice to managers and employees alike. This role requires a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and the ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

Support the HR team with all administration tasks.
Manage employee relations casework, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, and grievances.
Lead the recruitment process, from writing job descriptions and conducting interviews to providing candidate feedback.
Handle all employee-related paperwork, including contracts and onboarding documents.
Maintain the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and generating reports.
Monitor probation periods and facilitate sickness absence management.
Coordinate company benefit schemes and assist with strategic HR projects.
Organise company social events to promote team engagement.

About You

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to prioritising competing demands under pressure. You should possess:

Working knowledge of employment law and best practice processes.
Excellent organisational skills and a flexible, adaptable approach to work.
Experience in payroll information and benefit scheme administration.
Commercial acumen and the initiative to contribute ideas for improvement.
Professionalism and a commitment to upholding high standards of behaviour and performance.

Location
