Payroll and Reward Operations Manager

|Glasgow* |Hybrid (50/50 split) |£70,000–£75,000 + excellent benefits|

The Opportunity:

Our client, a global organisation with operations across multiple regions, is seeking a Manager to join their UK Reward team. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving operational excellence across payroll, benefits, compliance, and reward initiatives, while leading a team of three.

The position offers the chance to work closely with international colleagues and senior stakeholders, as well as to manage high-profile third-party provider relationships. It’s an excellent opportunity for a reward professional looking to take the next step in a complex, global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee employee tax and compliance, supporting audits and risk assurance processes.
Manage key third-party providers including ADP, Mercer, and share/insurance benefit partners, with the confidence to influence at senior levels.
Lead and develop a team of three, ensuring the delivery of accurate, compliant, and timely payroll.
Drive continuous improvement, digitalisation, and best practice within reward operations.
Manage recognition plans with a group-wide approach.
Partner closely with Finance, HR, and international Reward Managers to ensure global alignment.

What we’re looking for:

Strong technical expertise in employee tax, compliance, and service management.
Proven experience managing complex vendor relationships, particularly ADP and Mercer.
Experience with benefits management, incentive schemes, and recognition programmes.
Line management experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
International exposure and the versatility to work across different markets.
Personal qualities: resilience, adaptability, and strong stakeholder management skills.
