I am a senior technology leader and hands-on architect with over 25 years of experience delivering secure, scalable software and cloud platforms across startups, scale-ups, and enterprise environments. My background includes CTO, Technical Director, Solutions Architect, and Principal Consultant roles, working closely with founders, executives, and delivery teams to turn business goals into reliable technical outcomes.

I specialise in system architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and modern software delivery. I have led complex cloud migrations, platform modernisation programmes, and greenfield product builds, including work in regulated and security-sensitive environments. I am particularly experienced in aligning technology strategy with real operational needs, avoiding over-engineering while ensuring systems are robust, maintainable, and future-proof.

Alongside technical delivery, I have a strong track record in leadership and team development. I have built and scaled engineering teams, mentored senior and junior developers, embedded Agile ways of working, and supported organisations through periods of change. I am comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels, from defining roadmaps and architecture to contributing directly to code and infrastructure.
