About

I am an experienced true generalist, and an adaptable and fast-thinking tactician who can navigate sensitive, high-stakes global administration and human resource issues with uncompromised values. I manage with a sense of fun and an abundance of emotional intelligence, with particular focus on Employee Relations and dealing with difficult situations in the workplace.

My previous roles have ingrained me with excellent organisation and board level communication skills, and a positive outlook with the ability to proactively lead, drive and direct the HR function. An experienced hands-on partner, both PGCE and Chartered Level 7 CIPD qualified, with the ability to coach, develop and influence at both board and manager levels.

I have demonstrated my ability to develop high-performing teams, implement effective talent acquisition and retention strategies, and cultivate a positive workplace culture that aligns with an organisation’s values and objectives. I have successfully managed various functions, including employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR compliance in the military, civil service, unionised environments and commercial businesses.

As demonstrated in the accompanying CV, I built a successful career in the British Armed Forces, progressing from Private Soldier to Warrant Officer Class I.

I had a short time as a lecturer in the local college teaching on the Public Services courses and am now Head of HR at the College. At Yordas Group as VP HR I helped grow the company as it evolved internationally. I am now ready for my next challenge.

Even though I may be on the opposite end of the age spectrum to what you are seeking, but with age is a wealth of knowledge in different environments, and many years of experience. I have recently decided to start looking for a remote position due to a change of location in around 1 years’ time, and my current role is in-person.
