Our Client, a vibrant, successful Consultancy based in Tamworth, are looking for a Health and Safety Consultant to join their growing team.
The ideal candidate will have their NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent), followed by a minimum of 12 months experience in a Health and Safety role who is looking to grow and develop their career in this field.

The successful Health and Safety Consultant will be required to:-
- Provide health and safety advice and guidance to clients within different sectors/industries, deepening your experience of Health and Safety.
- Manage your own diary, ensuring you communicate effectively with clients.
- Create policies and risk assessments.
- Carry out on site audits and inspections.
- Generate reports that contain proportionate solutions suitable for the client.
- Approach each client in a tailored way, ensuring relationships are nurtured.
The ideal Health and Safety Consultant will have:-
- 1-2 years experience in a health and safety related role.
- Full driving licence essential. Must have access to own vehicle.
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupation Health and Safety or equivalent.
- An inquisitive mind that always strives to learn more.
- Desire to further develop in fire, environmental, compliance or training.
- Experience in construction/ knowledge of CDM regulations would be desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Passion and enthusiasm to learn.
- Analytical mindset.
- An outgoing personality.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Good IT skills.
- Good standard of written and verbal communication.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NEBOSH Fire (desirable.)
- Experience of accreditations (desirable.)
- Experience working for a consultancy (desirable.)
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
- CDM and Fire experience are advantageous but not essential.
- Flexibility to travel; you must be willing to travel to client’s sites throughout the UK, with occasional overnight stays. You must be willing to adapt to change based on client’s needs.
