Position: Project Manager - Learning & Development
Location: Warwick (Hybrid - 1-2 days per week on site)Contract: Until 31st March 2026Day Rate: From £400 per day (via umbrella company)
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Learning & Development function of a large, purpose-led organisation! Working alongside the Learning & Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering projects that enhance organisational learning - with a key focus on designing, launching, and embedding Communities of Practice (CoPs) that strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing across the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead an influential initiative that will shape the future of learning culture and professional development within a complex, fast-moving environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver strategic L&D projects - Plan, coordinate, and oversee tactical initiatives to implement Communities of Practice across the organisation by April 2026.
- Develop and embed CoPs - Establish frameworks, governance, and engagement strategies to ensure sustainable and active knowledge-sharing communities.
- Engage and influence stakeholders - Partner with teams across the organisation to identify learning opportunities, align needs, and drive adoption of CoPs.
- Monitor and report on progress - Track key milestones and metrics, analyse outcomes, and present progress updates to senior stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing Communities of Practice or equivalent initiatives.
- Proven track record in project management, ideally within a Learning & Development or HR environment.
- Recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile (preferred).
- Solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software.
