This is a strategic, hands-on role that will advise leaders, manage employee relations, and help build managers’ capability whilst offering the post holder variety, impact, and the chance to contribute to projects that improve HR service delivery across the organisation.Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR business partnering to managers, offering pragmatic advice on people matters
- Lead and manage employee relations cases (disciplinary, capability, grievance) from investigation to resolution
- Support organisational change activity, including restructures and TUPE where required
- Coach and develop managers to handle people issues independently and in line with policy and employment law
- Deliver HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives to add value to the service
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with procedures and best practice
- Work flexibly between homeworking and sites across the Norfolk/ Suffolk area
Essential skills & experience
- Proven HR generalist experience with demonstrable employee relations and HR business partnering skills in a complex environment
- Strong ability to advise managers, make robust decisions, and manage sensitive situations calmly
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build credibility at all levels
- Good organisational skills and experience managing multiple priorities
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly between sites; current driving licence required
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model and delivering site-based support
