Role Overview
We are seeking an organised and detail-focused HR Administrator to join the team on a fixed-term basis. This role provides essential support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with Trust policies and safeguarding requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle Administration
- Process all new starters, leavers, and contractual changes in accordance with Trust policy.
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HR database and digital filing systems.
- Ensure secure handling of all confidential information, particularly personal employee data, in line with Trust policy, the Data Protection Act, and DBS requirements.
- Ensure all DBS checks are completed, updated, and monitored in line with legal requirements and Trust policy.
- Prioritise workload effectively to meet competing deadlines.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Support the full Trust recruitment process, including:
- Advertising vacancies internally and externally.
- Coordinating and supporting shortlisting and interview arrangements.
- Completing all pre-employment vetting checks in line with current DfE guidance and Trust recruitment policy.
- Supporting the induction process where required.
- Ensuring accurate and timely data entry onto central HR systems.
General HR Support
- Respond to telephone enquiries and direct colleagues to the appropriate support channels.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
