Please note this is a fully office-based role.The RoleReporting directly to the HR Manager, this is a varied and all-encompassing HR role covering both operational and strategic responsibilities within a busy manufacturing environment:
- Supporting end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Providing employee relations support and advising managers on HR matters
- Maintaining HR compliance, policies and employee records
- Supporting wider HR operations and workforce planning activities
- Assisting with training and development initiatives for managers and staff
- Involvement in continuous improvement and wider business projects
- Supporting the HR Manager with generalist HR duties across the site
Person specification- Previous experience in a similar all-rounded HR role
- Ideally experience within SME manufacturing, engineering or production (not essential)
- CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards (desirable)
- Confident supporting employee relations and day-to-day HR queries
- Strong communication skills with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Forward-thinking and keen to develop within a growing business
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varied workload
