HR Business Partner
Salary: £50,000 – £54,000
Hours: Monday – Friday
Location: Milton Keynes
11-Month FTC
We are currently recruiting for an HR Business Partner on behalf
of a well-established and highly regarded organisation based in
Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced
HR professional looking for a strategic and commercially focused
HR Business Partner role within a supportive and collaborative
environment.
As an HR Business Partner, you will work closely with senior
leaders and people managers to shape and deliver people plans
across the business. You will act as a trusted HR advisor,
providing expert guidance across employee relations, performance
management, talent, engagement and organisational development.
This is a varied role where you will combine strategic HR
partnering with hands-on operational support, building strong
relationships with stakeholders and proactively identifying
people needs. You will also have the opportunity to lead HR
projects and contribute to wider people initiatives across the
organisation.
Key Responsibilities for an HR Business Partner:
* Partner with senior leaders and people managers to develop and
deliver effective people plans
* Provide expert advice and guidance across employee relations,
performance management and employment matters
* Coach and support people managers to effectively lead, develop
and engage their teams
* Manage talent attraction and onboarding activities, including
recruitment agency relationships
* Use HR data and MI to provide insight and support effective
people decisions
* Support talent development, succession planning and
organisational development initiatives
* Identify training needs and coordinate internal and external
learning activities
* Drive employee engagement and support a positive,
high-performance culture
* Ensure HR policies and practices remain aligned with current
employment legislation and best practice
* Support occupational health referrals and related employee
processes
* Champion diversity, inclusion and data protection within HR
* Lead and contribute to HR projects and wider people initiatives
Essential Skills for an HR Business Partner:
* Proven experience in both operational and strategic HR
* Previous experience working in a genuine HR Business Partner
role is essential
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
* Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building
skills
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence and
challenge appropriately
* Strong experience managing employee relations and supporting
performance management
* Experience managing external suppliers, particularly
recruitment agencies
* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
* Confident using Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
* Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced
environment
