ORONA’s activities are focused on the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance, and modernisation of lifts, escalators, moving ramps and walkways. Operating in 100 countries, we have 330,000 lifts worldwide using our technology. With 2 manufacturing plants, Orona is Number 1 in Europe in terms of complete lift production capacity.
We are looking for a talented and experienced HR Advisor to join our team and play a key role in supporting the business.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, building strong relationships and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
We’re also looking for someone who will be a great fit for our team. We’re a friendly, supportive and fun HR team, so personality matters to us. We’re looking for someone who is approachable, positive and enjoys working collaboratively, while being confident enough to get stuck in and make things happen.
Responsibilities:
· Provide comprehensive HR advice and guidance to managers and employers
· Support the business with employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, performance management, family leave etc.
· Prepare HR documentation
· Provide advice on HR policies and procedures
· Assist with updating and developing HR policies as required
· Support with payroll administration, with full training provided
· Maintain and update employee records and HR systems
· Support with training and development initiatives, including liaising with 3rd party training providers, and supporting the delivery of HR-related training and the Company Induction
· Collaborate with the wider HR team on projects and initiatives
Requirements
· Proven work experience as an HR Advisor in the UK
· CIPD Level 3 – desirable but not essential
· Strong knowledge of UK employment law
· Experience handling employee relations cases independently
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· Ability to prioritise and manage multiple activities simultaneously, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and evolving business needs
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
· Very strong attention to detail and organisational skills
· Flexible to attend offices across the UK as required
· Full clean driving licence and own transport
