People Business Partner – Watford
Salary: £40,000
Location: Watford Head Office
Working pattern: 5 days on site
Resourcing4HR are delighted to be working with a growing organisation in recruiting a People Business Partner to join their HR team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR generalist who enjoys being close to the business and making a real impact across the employee lifecycle.
Working closely with the Head of People, you’ll provide hands-on HR support across Head Office and the operational business, acting as a trusted advisor to managers and employees.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing day-to-day HR advice across the full employee lifecycle
- Managing complex employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances and performance matters
- Supporting investigations and advising managers on appropriate action
- Coaching managers to become effective people leaders
- Supporting conflict resolution and mediation
- Managing absence and supporting employee wellbeing
- Advising on employment law and ensuring HR policies are applied consistently
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and performance management
- Maintaining accurate HR records and HR systems
- Driving employee engagement and supporting an inclusive workplace culture
- Supporting HR projects and initiatives alongside the Head of People
- Providing HR support across multiple operational locations as required
About you:
You’ll be a confident HR Generalist, HR Advisor or People Partner with strong employee relations experience and a genuine passion for supporting people.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- CIPD Level 3 or above, or equivalent HR experience
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Experience managing ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances and absence
- Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills
- A commercial and pragmatic approach
- Confidence advising managers and senior stakeholders
- Experience working in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Retail, FMCG or multi-site experience would be advantageous
