HR ADVISOR
£35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
Weston-super-Mare | Fully site based
Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm | Friday 8.30am - 4pm
We’re working with an established and growing organisation to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join their team in Weston-super-Mare.
This is a broad, hands-on HR role where you’ll have real responsibility and autonomy, working closely with managers across the business and supporting them with a wide range of people matters.
You will be involved across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, performance management, attendance, development and offboarding. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in wider HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, reporting and the ongoing development of HR policies and processes.
The role would suit an experienced HR Advisor who enjoys being close to the business and likes having a varied role rather than being focused on one particular area of HR. You will need to be comfortable advising managers, dealing with employee relations matters and working independently, while also being someone who enjoys building good relationships across the organisation.
It’s a particularly good opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step in their HR career and wants more ownership and autonomy within their role.
The ideal candidate for this HR Advisor role will:
- Have previous experience working in a generalist HR Advisor role
- Have good experience across employee relations, performance and general HR
- Be confident advising and supporting line managers
- Be comfortable working independently and managing their own workload
- Have good communication and relationship-building skills
- Be CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualified, or working towards a relevant qualification
- Have experience using HR systems and producing HR reports
- Be able to travel to other sites when required, so a driving licence is important
In return, you will receive:
- £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
- £500 annual bonus, subject to KPIs
- 32 days holiday including bank holidays
- 5% employer pension contribution
- Christmas shutdown
- Training and development opportunities
- Employee Assistance Programme and wellbeing initiatives
- Cycle to Work Scheme
- Company events and employee recognition scheme
If you’re an experienced HR Advisor looking for a role where you can really take ownership, work closely with managers and broaden your experience, this could be a great next step.
