People Manager opportunity available working for a leading organisation based in North Yorkshire. This role is fully onsite based at their York and Malton sites with travel to their other sites as and when required.
This role provides expert guidance and responsive support across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on employee relations and manager coaching. The People Manager is pivotal in fostering a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture by delivering high-quality advice, guidance, and administrative support across a range of People activities.
Working collaboratively with the wider People team, the People Manager contributes to the development and enhancement of policies, processes, and systems, while maintaining a strong understanding of UK employment law and HR administrative functions. The role supports continuous improvement in people operations and promotes a high-quality employee experience through effective advisory and operational support to business managers/leaders.

Skills/Knowledge required:
- Proven experience as a People Manager or similar HR role within the UK, with expertise in employee relations and manager support.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR administrative best practice.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and apply HR knowledge to practical business situations.
- Track record of building credibility and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Commitment to confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- CIPD qualified or working towards (desirable)
