Compliance Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Manager to play a pivotal role in the safety management, maintenance, and refurbishment of developments. This position involves overseeing Compliance and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) management across various platforms, ensuring the successful delivery of all service events and remedials. The role demands a strategic thinker with a strong background in property maintenance planning and stakeholder management.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of Compliance and PPM, ensuring the portfolio is compliant and addressing any concerns with the Head of Property Operations Planning.
- Schedule and manage service events, including training for new developments and suppliers.
- Attend monthly supplier meetings and manage supplier performance for Compliance and PPM.
- Act as the primary owner of all service events, maintaining high standards and consistency across operations.
- Provide input in the implementation and management of processes, procedures, and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Deputise for the Head of Department as needed and maintain effective stakeholder relationships within Property Operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- IWFM qualification/membership is desirable, or working towards it.
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in managing property maintenance plans and scheduling activities.
- Demonstrable experience in planning tasks related to property such as facilities, assets, defects, and PPM.
- Proven ability to manage a team remotely and through hybrid working environments.
- High level of commercial thinking and strategic, outcome-focused approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and effective stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent presentation skills and proficiency in crisis management.
