Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage recruitment and employer branding efforts to attract a diverse range of high-quality candidates.
- Develop and implement programs for onboarding, career progression, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Promote ongoing learning and skills enhancement throughout the organisation.
- Serve as a reliable advisor to leadership on organisational design, workforce planning, and employee relations.
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and values-oriented workplace culture.
- Execute strategies to boost employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention.
- Design and oversee performance management systems.
- Create and maintain recognition and reward programs that acknowledge employee achievements.
- Supervise HR policies, systems, and procedures to ensure they comply with legal standards.
- Apply data-driven approaches to HR practices to enhance people-related outcomes.
- Conduct disciplinary hearings and investigations as needed.
- Liaise with departmental managers on a daily basis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in senior HR leadership, ideally in a fast-paced or scaling organisation.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and organisational development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver results.
- Demonstrated experience in change management and driving cultural transformation.
- Passionate about people, culture, and building high-performing teams.
- CIPD Level 5 or above.
