HR Generalist
Location: Remote with 2 days per month in their Holborn London office.
We are partnering with a creative and fast-paced Media company in their search for an experienced HR Generalist to join their small, collaborative HR team.
Reporting directly to the Head of HR, you will act as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries across a workforce of approximately 120 employees.
Experience / Skills Needed
- Broad HR generalist experience across employee relations, performance, HR operations, and compliance.
- Working knowledge of payroll and benefits processes, with strong attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
- Confident communicator and relationship builder with strong coaching and advisory skills.
- Solutions-focused, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player who contributes to a positive, high-performing HR function.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a first point of contact for all employee queries, providing timely and professional HR guidance in line with company policies
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, inductions, contract changes, probation, and offboarding
- Oversee absence and holiday tracking, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting
- Support and coach managers through performance management, capability, and employee relations issues
- Draft employment-related documents, including offer letters, contracts, and disciplinary correspondence
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Design and deliver regular management training sessions
- Collaborate with the Head of HR on workforce planning and L&D strategy
- Drive employee engagement and support wellbeing and D&I initiatives
- Maintain and analyse HR data and metrics to support business decisions
