We are currently recruiting on behalf of leading global law firm to assist them in their search for a new HR Advisor.
This is a new role in their London office, to work as part of their highly collaborative team, whereby the successful applicant will be the first point of contact for HR matters, be an ambassador for the HR department, and develop relationships across the firm.
The role reports directly into the Senior Manager, so the position offers a lot of autonomy and room for professional development.
Responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing new joiner processes and managing employee relations.
- Assisting with immigration matters, such as, right-to-work checks and visa applications.
- Providing support on managing absences, parental leaves, and advising on HR policies and best practice.
- Preparing monthly payroll information.
- Managing an efficient probation period for all new joiners and liaising with other team members when termination of employment is required.
- Assisting with the development and communication of benefits around the firm.
- Working alongside colleagues abroad to identify new processes that can be migrated, and report writing.
- Assisting with preparation for the business services annual compensation review.
- Handling queries in a timely manner, supervising the HR inbox, and ensuring HR intranet pages are up to date.
- Mentoring and delegating work to the HR Coordinator and Assistant.

Suitable candidates will have gained prior HR Advisory experience, ideally within a law firm, although professional services environments will also be considered. We are seeking applicants with exemplary attention to detail, influencing, and organisation skills. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, current employment law, and Workday is highly desirable.
