HR Business Partner
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a dynamic forward-thinking organisation in Watford. In this role, you will work closely with senior leaders across multiple functions to drive the successful delivery of the people strategy.
You will coach and empower managers to take ownership of people matters, helping to create a high-performance culture with strong engagement throughout the business. Acting as both a hands-on practitioner and a strategic partner, you will work collaboratively with specialist HR teams to deliver integrated, effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a visible role model and ambassador for effective HR business partnering.
- Build a deep understanding of business operations and how projects achieve commercial success, using people data to enhance performance.
- Develop strong, influential relationships with leaders to support sound decision-making.
- Support workforce planning activities, including forecasting resource needs and implementing strategies to meet future demand.
- Lead talent review processes and support leaders in developing robust succession plans for critical roles.
- Ensure talent is identified, nurtured, and retained within the organisation.
- Champion employee engagement initiatives, driving action on insights and supporting leaders in areas requiring development.
About You
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role with strong business partnering capability.
- Experience working in a complex or matrix business is essential.
- Skilled in coaching senior leaders and managers through complex people matters.
- In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of employment law, with experience applying it in a complex environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to build credible, trusted relationships.
- Resilient, proactive, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
- A collaborative team player who can build networks across all levels of the organisation.
- MCIPD qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
