A small but growing HR function, the HR Manager is a brilliant leader and is keen for this role to have autonomy, but also guidance for the future. Given that the mainstay of the role is Talent Acquisition oriented, it is vital that candidates bring a good base of Recruitment experience. This will ideally be coupled with wider talent project exposure (onboarding, candidate experience, EVP etc) and an interest in HR and the positive impact it can have on a growing business, given the wide scope of the role.
Key day to day duties include:
- Take leadership on all internal recruitment strategy, actively promoting the Employer Brand locally in the quest to attract top & niche industry related talent.
- Full ownership of initial parts of the talent acquisition process, coordinating with and coaching line managers to input positively throughout.
- Manage the starter & onboarding process, including compliance requirements.
- Assist in culture and engagement initiatives to drive the wider HR and Talent Management strategy of the business.
- Manage administration of the HRIS system and ad hoc HR admin support.

On that basis, we could also consider a recent HR related graduate, looking to move into industry having finished their studies (however with this route there must be a meaningful and relevant industrial placement attached to your studies).
