Employee Relations & HR Advisor
Location: Bristol (UK) Adhoc travel to the States!Reports to: Global Head of People
Are you passionate about shaping a positive employee experience and driving HR excellence across global teams? Join a dynamic design and product development function where creativity meets innovation, and play a pivotal role in supporting my clients people and culture across three sites.
As their Employee Relations & HR Advisor, you’ll be the go-to expert for HR policy, compliance, and employee relations. You’ll partner with managers to deliver proactive, solution-focused guidance that fosters a fair, inclusive, and high-performing workplace. What You’ll Do
- Lead HR Policy & Process Development: Create and refine policies that align with best practice and legal requirements, ensuring consistency across sites.
- Drive Compliance & Accuracy: Oversee employee data integrity, contracts, and documentation while safeguarding data protection standards.
- Partner with Managers: Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
- Champion Employee Experience: Support initiatives that promote engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate Globally: Work closely with external HR consultants and internal teams to deliver seamless HR support across regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain HR policies and SOPs, ensuring compliance with local laws.
- Advise on complex ER matters including disciplinary, grievance, and performance issues.
- Monitor HR metrics (turnover, absence, engagement) to inform strategy.
- Manage onboarding, visa sponsorship, and contractor compliance processes.
- Support training for managers on HR policies and best practices.
- Act as HR representative in formal meetings and panels.
- Contribute to HR projects and change initiatives across global sites.
