HR Business Partner. As the company continues to grow and modernise, this role presents a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional who is passionate about driving impactful people initiatives within a dynamic environment.Working closely with senior leaders, you will take responsibility for providing both strategic and hands-on HR support across a single site. Acting as a trusted partner, you will play a key role in shaping the people strategy, enhancing organisational performance, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality HR service across the operation.
Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to: - Strategic Partnership - You will partner with the site leadership team to deliver the people strategy in line with business goals. You will provide insight on workforce planning, organisational design, and succession planning, and support culture initiatives and change management activities.
- Employee Relations & Policy - You will advise managers on complex employee relations issues and oversee disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, and performance improvement plans. You will also ensure HR policies remain compliant, up to date, and consistently applied.
- Talent, Performance & Development - You will support talent management processes, including performance reviews and development planning, and help facilitate learning and leadership development. You will contribute to building an engaging, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
- Recruitment & Onboarding - You will work with hiring managers on recruitment planning and role design, support selection processes, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for all new starters.
- HR Operations & Data - You will maintain accurate employee data, support HR system improvements, and use HR metrics to inform decisions and recommend solutions. You will ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal standards.
- Projects & Continuous Improvement - You will lead and support HR projects, identify opportunities to improve processes and the employee experience, and champion continuous improvement across the People function.
What you will need to Apply:To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor within a fast-paced environment, ideally within manufacturing or a similar operational setting. You will have a strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice, enabling you to provide credible, pragmatic advice to managers at all levels.Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills are essential, as is the ability to influence, challenge, and support leaders confidently. You will be comfortable managing complex employee relations matters and balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Strong problem-solving abilities, sound judgement, and proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office are also key. Most importantly, you will bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine passion for people, performance, and continuous improvement.
