The RoleWe’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional to take ownership of their local HR function. You’ll play a key role in shaping people operations, ensuring compliance, and driving efficiency in payroll and HR cost control. This is a hands-on position where your expertise will directly influence their success.
What You’ll Do
- Payroll Management: Be the go-to person for all payroll matters, liaising with providers and ensuring accurate monthly processing.
- HR Cost Control: Lead and manage data for headcount and labor cost reporting, including forecasts and management plans.
- Reporting & Analysis: Maintain GDPR-compliant records and provide insightful HR analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Compliance & Policy: Keep policies up-to-date, aligned with UK law and European standards, and communicate them effectively.
- Projects & Processes: Act as the local point of contact for HR initiatives and ensure smooth implementation.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years’ HR experience with strong knowledge of payroll and cost control.
- Analytical mindset and confidence working with data.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage at all levels.
- HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent) is a plus.
- Ability to work from the office 3 days per week.
