Recruitment Administrator / Resourcer (Fixed-Term Contract)

Our client based in professional services in Bury st Edmunds are looking for a proactive Recruitment Administrator / Resourcer to join their HR team on a fixed-term basis for 12 months. The Role
As part of our HR team, you’ll be at the heart of the recruitment process. Your responsibilities will include sourcing, screening, and building strong relationships with candidates to ensure the best fit for our roles. You’ll work closely with our Talent Acquisition Advisor and wider HR team to deliver efficient recruitment processes, support early careers initiatives, and help us remain competitive in a challenging market.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse the local market to identify talent acquisition opportunities.
- Research and engage potential candidates through various channels (LinkedIn, careers pages, direct approaches).
- Create and publish job advertisements across internal and external platforms, including social media.
- Review and shortlist applications via our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Conduct telephone interviews to assess suitability and cultural fit, making recommendations for interviews.
- Take ownership of recruitment for non-legal and support roles, ensuring timely and effective hiring.
- Oversee onboarding and induction processes for new hires, working closely with the HR Administrator.
- Support future talent initiatives, including careers events and internal engagement.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of six months’ experience in talent acquisition or recruitment (agency or in-house).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with ATS systems and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
- Knowledge of the local market is desirable but not essential.
