REED HR have partnered with a fantastic company across the South East Region who are seeking a dedicated Regional HR Advisor to join their HR Support Function. This role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive HR support across the region, encompassing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and career development. As a Regional HR Advisor, you will play a key role in promoting a positive workplace culture, enhancing employee engagement, and advancing diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Day-to-day of the role:
- HR Advisory: Provide proactive HR support to line managers on performance management, reward and benefits, disciplinary actions, and more. Ensure alignment with company policies.
- Meeting Support: Attend and support formal meetings such as disciplinary and grievance meetings, acting as the company representative and note-taker.
- Manager Coaching: Train line managers on HR and Employee Relations to enhance their understanding and implementation of company policies.
- Resourcing Support: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs, create job adverts, and manage the full lifecycle of recruitment campaigns.
- Data Management: Maintain tracking systems, create reports, and provide key metric data to the HR Business Partner.
- Career Development: Coordinate apprenticeship arrangements and manage documentation for all learning and development activities in the region.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity within the workplace and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws.
- Employee Engagement: Act as the Regional Engagement Coordinator, participate in Employee Forums, and assist with regional engagement efforts and recognition programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of employment law to ensure legal compliance.
- Experienced in interviewing and staffing processes.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting confidently with all levels of management.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
- Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Flexibility to adapt to different challenges and work across various locations.
- Ideally CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent.
- Valid UK driving licence.
