HR Admin Team Leader

We are seeking an HR Admin Team Leader on behalf of our wonderful Sussex client: this role involves managing a team of People Services Administrators and a People Services Coordinator; the team is responsible for all aspects of People administration, including recruitment and onboarding, absence management, training, employee relations, and offboarding.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead and manage the team to ensure efficient and effective administration of all HR-related processes.
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires.
- Manage absence records and training schedules, ensuring compliance and up-to-date employee records.
- Handle employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to ensure fair and consistent treatment.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance the efficiency of the HR department.
- Provide regular reports and insights on HR metrics to senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Coordinator, or similar role
- CIPD Level 5
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
- In-depth understanding of all HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and databases.
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
