Talent Acquisition Executive (Recruitment & Employee Relations)
Location: Gosforth based with occasional travel to Durham - Hybrid work available later down the line when settled
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
We are supporting a growing, values-led professional services organisation in their search for a Talent Acquisition Executive. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to own the full recruitment process while also gaining or developing experience within Employee Relations and the wider People function.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, partnering with managers, and taking a proactive, forward-thinking approach to talent and people support.
The Role
You will manage end-to-end recruitment across a range of roles, including qualified professionals, early careers, and business support positions. Alongside this, you will support the People & Culture team with day-to-day Employee Relations activity, helping ensure a consistent, fair and supportive approach across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing full recruitment lifecycle: advertising, sourcing, screening, shortlisting and offer management
- Building and maintaining talent pipelines for future roles, not just live vacancies
- Proactively sourcing through LinkedIn, job boards, events and other channels
- Supporting trainee and graduate recruitment, including events and assessment processes
- Maintaining accurate records on the ATS and supporting reporting and analytics
- Supporting employer branding and representing the organisation at external events
- Assisting with ER queries and people-related casework where appropriate
- Preparing documentation and supporting managers with people processes
- Ensuring all activity aligns with inclusion, fairness and employment law requirements
- Contributing to continuous improvement across recruitment and People operations
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident, proactive and able to build strong relationships across all levels. You will be the first point of contact for many candidates, so professionalism and warmth are key.
You will ideally bring:
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment
- Some exposure to Employee Relations work
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple vacancies at once
- Good understanding of recruitment technology and online sourcing
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- A values-led mindset with a commitment to fairness, cooperation and integrity
- Experience working within professional services would be an advantage but isn’t essential.
What’s on Offer
- £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
- 25 days holiday plus Christmas closure
- Pension contributions and life assurance
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Wellbeing and retail discounts
- Birthday and Christmas benefits
- Flexible working arrangements
- Cycle to work and electric car schemes
- Opportunity to join internal wellbeing, inclusion, community and sustainability groups
