£39,000-£42,000, up to £28.32 per hour (Umbrella)
Hybrid, 3 days in office (Tue, Wed, Thur)

Your new companyI am working with an international pharmaceutical company to recruit a shared service associate on a contract basis.
Your new roleYou will join a fast-paced HR Shared Services team responsible for the day-to-day management of employee absences and HR-related enquiries. The role will also occasionally provide support to other teams and global regions. I am looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic about their career in Human Resources, enjoys helping employees find answers to their HR related questions, and is interested in continuing to build upon their knowledge across all HR functions. You will be extremely detail oriented, flexible with continuous process/system changes, possess a problem-solving mindset, and enjoys creating order from ambiguity.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for analysing and answering HR-related queries and acting as liaison with contacts including local HR, COEs and other key stakeholders
- Proactively maintain and administer accurate and timely HR data on Workday. Input, update and reconcile data as required to ensure information is current and accurate.
- Interpret and explains company policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations, advising managers and employees on the policy/laws with paid time off, compensation, and short-term and long-term disability benefits
- Provide support for a range of HR administrative processes supporting the employee lifecycle.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the HR knowledge base to help employees quickly and easily find an answer to their questions via self-service
- Assist with creating or updating internal training tools and process manuals for team members to maximise the effective use of Workday
- Collaborate with other regional HR shared service teams for knowledge sharing
- Partner with key stakeholders such as Line Managers, HRBPs, People Technology, Mobility, Benefits and Payroll to resolve any issues
- Proactively update business processes and process documentation to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency.
- Participate in ad hoc HR projects as directed by HR Shared Services People Leaders
- Maintain a high standard of service to your colleagues
What you'll need to succeed
- Knowledge of HR policies, practices, procedures, laws, and system tools
- Strong communication, organisational, collaboration, documentation, and presentation skills
- Must possess strong Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with case management tools (especially ServiceNow) is highly desired
- HR OR HR Shared Services experience
- Experience using HR Systems, especially Workday
- Experience managing employee absence
