The Opportunity Sitting within a global Learning & Development function, the Legal Learning Manager will take ownership of practice-specific and technical legal training. Working closely with partners, knowledge lawyers, and subject matter experts, you will design, deliver, and continuously enhance learning programmes that support lawyer development from early career through to senior level.
This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and offers significant exposure across practice groups, jurisdictions, and senior stakeholders. It is ideal for someone who enjoys translating legal expertise into impactful learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities -
Design, develop, and deliver high-quality legal learning programmes across multiple formats, including in-person, virtual, and digital learning.

Partner with partners, knowledge lawyers, and practice leaders to identify learning needs and skills gaps.

Ensure legal training aligns with lawyer career development frameworks and firm-wide people priorities.

Facilitate workshops for junior lawyers, including trainees and associates.

Review, refresh, and enhance digital legal learning content in collaboration with digital learning specialists.

Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness, using feedback and data to drive continuous improvement.

Support and guide Legal Learning Coordinators, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Manage training budgets and contribute to annual planning cycles.

Stay current on legal education trends, law firm developments, and emerging learning technologies, including AI-enabled learning tools.

Strong experience in legal learning, legal training, or professional development within a law firm.

Alternatively, a qualified lawyer with experience transitioning into legal education, knowledge, or L&D.
