HR Advisor
We are seeking an HR Advisor to join a team of HR generalists supporting the operations departments. This role involves a true generalist remit, including employee relations, recruitment, reward, and learning and development activities.
Day-to-day of the role:
- HR Advisor to key stakeholders offering pragmatic and proactive advice.
- Manage employee relations casework
- Build effective relationships at all levels, advising on HR policies and issues to ensure good HR practice.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on the HR Information system.
- Handle pay and job changes, ensuring all paperwork is completed and accurately recorded.
- Collaborate on reward activities and provide relevant HR metrics and reports.
- Assist in reviewing staffing structures, including job descriptions, salary benchmarking, and recruitment processes.
- Support Learning and Development initiatives, assisting in the design and coordination of training courses.
- Conduct pre-employment checks
- Prepare and update contracts and offer paperwork
- Facilitate effective employee induction and exit interviewing processes.
- Maintain a regular, visible presence to stakeholders and continually seek ways to improve HR practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR generalist
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law, including immigration and right to work requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in using and maintaining an HRIS.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- CIPD qualification is ideal but not mandatory.
