HR Business Partner
Saxmundham, Suffolk
Up to £55K per annum
Due to continued growth, my client is seeking a HR Business Partner to join their team based in their Suffolk office. This role will have responsibility for overall HR operations, partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to support the full employee relations lifecycle and deliver effective HR services across the business. You will:
- Support, manage, and develop the HR team to ensure effective delivery of HR services
- Partner closely with the management team across the organisation on all employee relations matters, providing guidance through disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and exit processes
- Advise leaders on organisational design, workforce planning, and change initiatives
- Coach managers on leadership capability, communication, and effective people management
- Drive initiatives to improve employee retention, morale, and overall employee experience
- Lead and support performance management processes and succession planning activities
- Champion a healthy, inclusive, and values-driven workplace culture
- Oversee payroll operations, supporting the HR and Payroll Advisor with operational issues and continuous process improvements
- Oversee and support the implementation and ongoing optimisation of the HR system
- Continuously review, update, and maintain HR policies and processes, including the employee handbook, ensuring compliance with current employment legislation
- Ensure effective induction and onboarding processes are in place and aligned with company guidelines, including delivery of new starter workshops
- Produce HR reports, KPIs, and people metrics, providing insights and recommendations for action
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience working within a HR Business Partner role
- Be CIPD Level 3 or above qualified
- Strong experience working within a HR System
- Strong knowledge of the current UK employment legislation
- Be comfortable working closely with stakeholders
- Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Be flexible, pro-active and have an agile approach to work
- Have excellent attention to detail
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
