Interim HR Advisor
9-12 month contract
Based in Guildford
Hybrid, likely 1 or 2 days in office per week

Your new companyI am currently partnered with an SME organisation to recruit an interim HR Advisor. My client has just gone through a period of transition and is now looking to bring in an HR generalist at advisory level. This is an urgent hire, we are looking to start within a few weeks.
Your new roleThis is a generalist HR role. You will be supporting with Recruitment, L&D, Onboarding, Payroll and some ER matters.
Key responsibilities
- Support recruitment efforts, from posting jobs to interviewing and managing offers
- Support the onboarding process for new hires
- Manage low complexity ER cases before they need to be escalated
- Supporting line managers with People matters
- Monthly payroll prep and liaising with the payroll provider
- Manage pre-employment compliance and occupational health referrals
- HR policy review and updates
What you'll need to succeedMy client is looking for a proven HR professional (ideally at advisor level) who has worked within SME environments. You will be a self-starter and ideally have or be working toward your CIPD.
