HR Business Partner
- Location: Southampton with travel to other sites.

- Salary: £46,000 - £47.500
Our client is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. This role is crucial for supporting and guiding managers to ensure the correct implementation of HR processes and policies across the business. You will provide proactive operational support and be a key player in delivering our wider People Agenda.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver colleague onboarding processes including ID and Right to Work verifications.
- Oversee recruitment, aiming to reduce agency spend and organise recruitment events as needed.
- Provide managers with advice and guidance on all HR cases, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Instil a performance management culture and assist managers with team performance.
- Support disciplinary, grievance, and consultation procedures, ensuring adherence to policy and legislation.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries and maintain communication within the HR team.
- Develop and recommend engagement, wellness, and employee relations initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law and company procedures.
- Assist with the production of management reports and handle statutory reporting requirements.
- Travel to various locations to support managers with HR matters.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Senior HR Advisor role or equivalent.
- CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and employment law.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stressful situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with HR software programs.
- Full, clean driving licence.
Desirable:
- Level 7 CIPD qualification.
- Experience in leading recruitment and exposure to TUPE.
- Experience delivering L&D initiatives.
