Dalton Recruitment has a superb opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner looking for a rewarding new challenge. This is a Business Partner in the truest sense of the job title, specifically responsible for providing strategic and commercially focused people solutions to the central functions’ senior leaders and their teams, based in the client’s head office in Woking.
The client is undergoing a period of significant positive transformation and this highly visible and influential role will help drive the necessary changes, deliver strategic workforce planning, drive engagement and build performance to ensure the organisation has the capability, structure and talent it needs to meet its goals over the next 3-5 years.
The successful candidate will primarily be based at the client’s central Woking offices which is where the Executive Leadership Teams and centres of excellence that need supporting are based, with travel to other offices and sites in the UK as required. The position requires a proactive approach and the HRBP will be the HR subject matter expert for the stakeholders, offering confident commercially aware solutions to allow them to achieve their objectives.
The role offers a competitive base salary + car allowance, bonus and attractive benefits package. There is the ability to work from home 1 day/week as standard with ad hoc flexibility in line with business demands.
What you’ll be doing:
Strategic Business Partnering
• Partnering with senior leaders to develop and deliver people plans aligned to business strategy
• Providing strategic advice on all people-related matters across multiple functions
• Supporting organisational design, strategic workforce planning and performance optimisation
Talent & Capability
• Driving talent management and succession planning across key roles
• Supporting leadership development and capability building
• Coaching leaders and teams to improve performance and effectiveness
Culture & Engagement
• Supporting the creation of a high-performance culture and environment
• Driving employee engagement and supporting delivery of engagement initiatives
• Acting as a role model for organisational values and behaviours
Change & Transformation
• Supporting business transformation and cultural change initiatives
• Ensuring change programmes are effectively embedded and adopted
• Acting as a trusted advisor during periods of change and ambiguity
Operational Support & Delivery
• Supporting the resolution of operational people issues
• Working closely with People Operations and Centres of Excellence to deliver effective solutions
• Ensuring HR services are delivered efficiently and add value to the business
What we’re looking for:
• Previous proven experience strategically business partnering centres of excellence senior leadership teams in a large complex or matrix organization
• Experience delivering strategic workforce planning
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to align people strategies with business goals
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior level
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• In-depth knowledge of UK&I employment law
• CIPD qualified or equivalent
