Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced HR professional in an exciting and newly created role. As HR Services Lead, you will help shape and deliver great people support across the organisation. This role is all about connecting the bigger people picture with what actually happens day to day — making sure leaders and employees get a consistent, high-quality HR service they can rely on. You’ll lead a talented HR team, work closely with senior leaders, and play a key role in improving how HR services are delivered now and in the future.
Key activities will include:- Owning and delivering People Plans for your designated business areas
- Making sure HR services — from recruitment and employee relations to business partnering — run smoothly end to end
- Working closely with senior leaders to turn people priorities into practical, workable solutions
- Keeping an eye on service performance, risk, and SLAs — and spotting opportunities to make things better
- Supporting the rollout of automation and AI tools to improve efficiency and employee experience
- Leading, coaching, and supporting HR Managers, Business Partners, and HR Operations colleagues
- Balancing strategic people work with hands?on operational support
- Using people data and insights to tell clear stories that help leaders make better decisions
- Staying up to date with employment law, best practice, and new HR technology
- Working with Culture and Organisational Design colleagues to plan for future structures, skills, and succession
About You You will be a confident, approachable HR leader who enjoys working with people and solving problems. You’re just as comfortable thinking strategically as you are getting involved in the detail when needed. You’ll bring:
- Solid experience leading HR services or HR operations teams
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Experience leading change and improving services
- A supportive, coaching leadership style
- Clear, engaging communication skills
- An interest in new technology, automation, and data, and how these can improve HR
- A real focus on improving employee experience
What You’ll Need- Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience)
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards / happy to work towards Level 7)
- A full UK driving licence
