It starts with a conversation.
A leader sits across from you, navigating change, growth and big ambitions. They don’t just need training - they need insight, partnership and someone who can translate vision into capability. That’s where you come in.
As a Learning and Development Business Partner, you won’t just design learning - you’ll shape the future of how people grow, perform and thrive across the business.
This isn’t about ticking boxes or delivering off-the-shelf programmes. As a Learning and Development Business Partner, you’ll embed yourself in the business, building genuine relationships and understanding what success really looks like for the teams you support. You’ll challenge thinking, spark new ideas and create learning experiences that truly make a difference.
What does being a Learning and Development Business Partner feel like?
It’s autonomy with purpose.
One day, you’re facilitating a leadership session that shifts perspectives in real time. The next, you’re coaching a manager through a complex people challenge. Then you’re stepping back, connecting the dots and designing a learning solution that aligns with where the business is heading next.
As a Learning and Development Business Partner, your work will be visible. It will be felt. And most importantly, it will matter.
What you’ll be doing as a Learning and Development Business Partner
- Partnering with leaders to understand priorities and capability gaps
- Designing and delivering learning (both face-to-face and virtual)
- Coaching individuals and teams
- Leading key L&D projects and contributing to the wider strategy
- Building strong relationships so learning feels relevant and accessible
What we’re looking for in a Learning and Development Business Partner
- Experience designing and delivering learning that has real impact
- Confident facilitation skills
- Coaching experience (or an interest in developing this)
- A practical understanding of people development approaches
- Someone who builds relationships easily and thinks commercially
This is a chance to step into a Learning and Development Business Partner role where you’ll have real influence - not just delivering learning, but shaping how the business develops its people.
