Your new company Our client is an expanding, successful business who are seeking an experienced HR Professional to join their team based in the Bungay/ Beccles area. This newly created role will be responsible for owning and driving performance management across the organisation, alongside supporting learning and development, leadership capability, engagement, and recognition initiatives.
The successful candidate will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of performance frameworks. Success in this role will directly impact the company's performance by embedding a culture of high achievement, engagement, and continuous development. In this role, you will be the go-to expert on performance management. You will ensure managers are trained, capable, and held accountable for developing their teams.
Your new role
- Own and drive the organisation's performance management framework
- Ensure managers consistently hold performance check-ins, goal-setting sessions, and meaningful development conversations
- Train and support managers to set SMART goals and manage performance effectively.
- Provide practical guidance and support to managers on performance, development, and engagement matters
- Lead learning and development initiatives that support performance improvement and capability growth
- Identify training needs and organise programmes
- Deliver training and guidance for managers to enhance leadership and performance management skills
- Lead initiatives to maintain high engagement and motivation levels
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience owning and delivering performance management processes
- Confident, giving constructive feedback at all levels
- Experience delivering learning and development initiatives
- Experience supporting or developing leadership capability
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards)
- Experience supporting engagement or cultural initiatives
