As a Senior HR Business Partner, reporting to the European HR Director, you’ll act as the lead HR Partner for the UK business while supporting Commercial and Finance functions across the UK and a European location. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll operate across both strategic and operational HR, helping to deliver people plans aligned to business objectives.
You’ll play a key role in driving organisational performance, enhancing leadership capability and supporting the delivery of a high‑performing, engaged workforce. Through strong partnership and a pragmatic approach, you’ll help shape and implement people strategies that support the wider European business.
Your Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to align people strategy with business objectives.
- Support talent, succession and workforce capability planning across supported functions.
- Lead HR initiatives across engagement, learning and development, and resourcing.
- Coach and upskill managers on people management and performance matters.
- Support organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as the escalation point for complex employee relations matters.
- Partner with the wider European HR team on strategic HR projects and policy development.
- Lead recruitment activity for key business areas in line with future capability requirements.
- Operate as part of the wider UK HR team, taking a UK‑wide lead approach where required
To Be Successful You Will Need
- Proven experience in a Senior HR Business Partner role within a complex commercial environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior level.
- Broad generalist HR experience, including organisational development, talent and employee relations.
- Experience operating across multi‑site or international environments (advantageous).
- A commercially focused, pragmatic and solutions‑led approach.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Degree‑level education in HR or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
