Reed Business Support are recruiting for a HR Advisor on behalf of our valued client, based in Maidstone. As the appointed professional, you will play a key role in supporting the wider team and contributing to the smooth running of daily operations.
About the RoleAs an HR Advisor, you will provide comprehensive support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing first-line HR advice to managers on employee relations matters
- Supporting disciplinary, grievance, and absence management processes
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
- Assisting with recruitment processes, including onboarding and inductions
- Coordinating training initiatives and supporting development plans
- Preparing HR reports and analysing workforce data
- Ensuring policies and procedures are applied consistently across the business
About YouTo be considered for this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or HR Officer position
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High levels of organisation with strong attention to detail
- Confidence using HR systems and Microsoft Office packages
- CIPD Level 3 or above (desirable or working towards)
Salary & Working Pattern- £30,000 – £33,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
- Hybrid working available (2 days from home following probation)
- Right to Work in the UK is required
