Talent Acquisition Specialist
Tipton (Head Office) – 5 days per week on-site 8:00am – 5:30pm (early finish on Fridays)
£35,000 base salary + realistic OTE take home up to £45,000+
We are supporting a growing and highly regarded business operating within the civil engineering sector, delivering high-quality infrastructure and utility solutions across the UK.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment where priorities shift quickly. You’ll play a key role at the heart of business growth, responsible for attracting and securing the talent needed to deliver major engineering projects.
The Opportunity
As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process across a wide range of roles. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role, requiring you to balance speed, quality, and stakeholder expectations in a busy operational environment.
You will partner closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders, providing expert guidance and ensuring roles are filled efficiently with high-calibre candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing full-cycle recruitment across the UK
- Building strong, proactive relationships with stakeholders and candidates
- Developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies across job boards, social media, and networks
- Writing and posting engaging job adverts
- Screening CVs and conducting initial interviews
- Managing candidate pipelines through ATS systems
- Providing market insights, including salary benchmarking and recruitment trends
- Coordinating offers and supporting negotiations
- Delivering a smooth, professional onboarding experience
- Producing regular recruitment reports and MI
- Supporting corporate induction and onboarding programmes
- Ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice
Weekly Induction Responsibility
- Lead and deliver weekly Monday induction sessions for all new starters
- Ensure a consistent, engaging onboarding experience
- Work closely with HR and management to ensure all documentation and onboarding processes are completed efficiently
About You
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Talent Acquisition / Recruitment role
- Essential: Experience recruiting within engineering or civil engineering sectors
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practice and employment legislation
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple roles and priorities
- Commercially aware with strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach
- Proactive, self-driven, and solutions-focused
