Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an HR Advisor to join their Manchester team on a permanent part-time basis, working 3-4 days per week from their Spinningfields office. This is a varied, hands-on role offering real autonomy, exposure across the business and the opportunity to work closely with experienced leaders within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities of the HR Advisor:
- Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing practical and commercially focused advice.
- Support managers with employee relations matters including performance, conduct, absence, flexible working requests and change processes.
- Manage ER cases from start to finish, including investigations and hearings where required.
- Support employee lifecycle activity including OH referrals, exit interviews and annual people processes.
- Maintain accurate HR data, reporting and documentation.
- Contribute to HR policy, process improvement and wider people initiatives.
- Support employee engagement activity including EDI and CSR initiatives.
- Assist with internal communications, HR projects and general HR administration.
- Embrace technology and AI to improve efficiency and ways of working.
What we are looking for:
- CIPD qualified, with Level 7 strongly preferred.
- Strong UK employment law knowledge.
- Previous experience within a generalist HR Advisory role.
- Confident managing a varied ER caseload independently.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong Microsoft and HR systems skills.
