With a key role in maintaining trust and driving excellence across its sector, the organisation is undergoing a significant transformation, investing in its people, processes and leadership capability.Executive hiring plays a critical role in shaping the future of the organisation, and this position sits at the heart of attracting and appointing senior leadership talent.Your new roleAs Executive Recruitment Lead, you will take ownership of senior hiring across the organisation, partnering closely with executive leadership and HR to deliver high-quality, end-to-end recruitment for critical leadership roles.This is a highly visible role, requiring strong stakeholder engagement, strategic oversight and the ability to manage complex executive search activity while leading and developing a small specialist team.Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of executive recruitment across senior leadership and director-level roles
- Building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership and board-level teams
- Acting as a strategic partner to HR and leadership, translating business needs into effective hiring strategies.
- Managing and developing a high-performing executive resourcing team, setting direction and ensuring consistent delivery standards
- Advising stakeholders on recruitment approaches, assessment methodologies and selection decisions to ensure best-in-class hiring outcomes
- Leading on candidate management, including longlisting, shortlisting, interview design and offer negotiation processes
- Managing relationships with external executive search firms and assessment providers to ensure high-quality delivery and value for money
- Driving continuous improvement across executive hiring processes, leveraging market insight and data-led decision-making
- Collaborating across wider HR functions, including Talent, Reward and Business Partnering, to build long-term leadership capability
You will play a key role in shaping leadership capability and ensuring the organisation attracts, assesses and appoints high-calibre senior talent.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Significant experience in executive recruitment, either in-house or within an executive search environment
- Proven experience delivering senior and director-level hires end-to-end
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge at senior and executive level
- Experience leading or developing teams within a resourcing or talent function
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage external suppliers, including search firms and assessment partners
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt style to suit senior audiences
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex processes in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to drive initiatives and improve recruitment outcomes
- Experience working within a structured HR environment and collaborating across multiple HR disciplines
