We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to become the dedicated People Business Partner forAnglian Venture Holdings (AVH)– the commercial arm of the Anglian Water Group and Legal business unit.
Working closely with theAVH ExecutiveTeam,Legal business unitand senior leaders,you'llplay a key role in shaping and delivering people strategies that support growth,organisationaleffectivenessand business performance across a diverse portfolio of ventures and businesses. This is a unique opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, support transformation and help create high-performing teams that drive long-term success.
As the lead HR Business Partner for AVH, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating businessobjectivesinto practical people strategies.You'llbring commercial insight, challenge and support to leaders navigating growth, change and transformation, ensuring people decisions contribute directly to business success.
You will influence decision-making at a senior level, lead organisational design initiatives, support transformation programmes, andprovideexpert guidance across the full employee lifecycle.
• Acting as the dedicated HR Business Partner for Anglian Venture Holdings and its portfolio of businesses alongside legal business unit
• Partnering with Directors and Senior Leadership Teams to drive business performance through people strategies.
• Supporting organisational growth, restructuring, acquisitions,integrationsand transformation initiatives.
• Leading and advising on complex change programmes, including consultation processes and organisational design.
• Supporting succession planning, workforceplanningand talent development strategies.
• Driving engagement,performanceand continuous improvement across the business.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across Finance, Communications, Legal and widerPeople teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Coaching and developing leaders to build high-performing teams.
• Supporting the people aspects of business acquisitions, integrations,transfersand commercial growth initiatives.
• Ensuring AVH has the capability, talent and organisational structurerequiredto deliver its strategic ambitions.
What does it take to be successful?
•Experienceoperatingas an HR Business Partner within a commercially focused organisation, with a strong understanding of how people strategies support business performance and growth.
• Proventrack recordsupporting business growth and organisational transformation.
• Experience leading change management initiatives and complex employee relations matters.
• Demonstrable experience managing TUPE transfers, including due diligence, consultation,integrationand post-transfer employee engagement.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders andoperatingat executive level.
• Strong understanding of employment law and people risk management.
• Experience delivering organisational design and workforce planning initiatives.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to balance businessobjectivesand employee experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and coaching skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
• CIPD qualification (or equivalent) and commitment to professional development.
