Interim HR / People Business Partner
West Midlands Council | 3-Month Contract | 3 Days Onsite
A West Midlands-based Local Authority is seeking an experienced HR / People Business Partner to join them on an initial 3-month interim assignment, supporting a broad range of employee relations and organisational development activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, business-focused advice on complex employee relations matters, in line with employment law and best practice
- Support and embed cultural and values-driven change across the organisation
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and trade unions
- Lead on organisational change projects, including restructures, TUPE, and pay & benefits reviews
- Deliver learning initiatives to support leadership capability and workforce development
- Use data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience operating at HR Business Partner level within a complex organisation (local government desirable)
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations
- Experience supporting organisational change and transformation programmes
- Confident stakeholder management and ability to influence at all levels
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite per week.
