Overview
We're looking for a commercially minded Recruitment Consultant to join a growing Energy recruitment team.
This is not a delivery-only recruitment role — we're looking for someone who thrives on outbound activity, opening accounts and generating billings through strong business development.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing new business opportunities across the Energy market
- Conducting high-volume cold outreach and prospecting
- Building relationships with key hiring contacts
- Growing and managing client accounts
- Delivering recruitment campaigns from qualification through placement
- Contributing directly to desk growth and revenue
What We're Looking For
- Previous Energy recruitment experience within an agency environment
- Demonstrable client acquisition success
- Strong cold calling and objection handling ability
- Extensive sales and business development experience
- Commercial and target-oriented approach
Industry Knowledge Required
Candidates should possess a strong understanding of the Energy sector and be able to engage confidently with clients operating within areas such as:
- Renewable Energy
- Utilities
- Power Generation
- Transmission & Distribution
- Oil & Gas
- Energy Infrastructure
- Sustainability & Net Zero Projects
- Engineering & Technical Energy Recruitment
You should understand the recruitment challenges within the sector, key skill shortages, market trends and be able to engage credibly with Energy professionals and hiring decision-makers.
