Macildowie are working with a well-established business in North Leicestershire to recruit a HR Coordinator / HR Advisor on a temporary to permanent basis.
This is an immediate requirement, initially temporary but there is a genuine potential for the role to become permanent for the right person.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid HR administration or HR Coordinator experience who has gained exposure to Employee Relations and is looking to take the next step into an Advisor-level role.
Salary: £ FTE (£15.38 - £17.95 ph)Contract: Temp to PermHours: 30 hours per week (ideally across 5 days, although 4 days will be considered)Working Pattern: Hybrid
The RoleSupporting a workforce of around 108 employees, you'll be involved across the full employee lifecycle. The role is heavily focused on HR administration, compliance and coordinating day-to-day HR activities, with around 20-30% of your time supporting Employee Relations.
Duties will include:
- Managing the HR administration across the employee lifecycle
- Producing contracts, letters and HR documentation
- Supporting the onboarding and compliance process
- Carrying out licence and right to work checks
- Booking occupational health appointments
- Supporting health surveillance administration
- Coordinating Learning & Development administration
- Providing first-line HR support to managers
- Assisting with low-level Employee Relations cases including absence, disciplinaries and grievances
- Supporting HR projects and ensuring HR records remain compliant and up to date
About YouWe're keen to speak with candidates who:
- Are immediately available or on a short notice period
- Have experience within a HR Administrator, HR Coordinator or junior HR Advisor position
- Have exposure to Employee Relations and are keen to develop further
- Enjoy working in a varied, hands-on HR role
- Are organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
- Ideally hold, or are working towards, a CIPD qualification (although this isn't essential)
This role would particularly suit someone looking to progress their HR career into an Advisor position, whilst still enjoying the operational and administrative side of HR.
