Job Title: HR Generalist (Part-time)

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (Full-time equivalent)

HR Generalist (Part-time) to join their team and provide comprehensive HR support across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to become a key member of the business, working closely with managers and senior leaders to deliver a professional, people focused HR service while supporting a wide range of operational and strategic HR activities.
The OpportunityWorking as part of the wider business, you'll support the full employee lifecycle, providing practical HR advice and ensuring HR processes run smoothly and effectively. You'll be responsible for:
- Supporting employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues.
- Providing day to day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
- Managing recruitment activities, from advertising vacancies through to onboarding new starters.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Supporting employee engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and GDPR requirements.
- Producing HR reports and monitoring key people metrics.
- Coordinating learning and development activities where required.
- Supporting payroll preparation by maintaining accurate employee records.
- Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and administrative efficiencies.
About YouWe're looking for an organised and approachable HR professional with strong generalist experience who enjoys working collaboratively and delivering an excellent service across all areas of HR. To be successful, you'll bring:
- Previous experience within a generalist HR role.
- Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience supporting employee relations cases.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- High levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Confidence using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) would be advantageous but is not essential.
