Temporary Subject Access Request Officer
Location: Wiltshire (Remote Working Available)Contract: Temporary Assignment until at least 21st August, with potential extension until the end of AugustHours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:15pm
- Friday: 8:30am – 4:15pm

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Subject Access Request (SAR) Officer to provide immediate support during a busy period following a cyber incident and the Stand Alone HR manager busy with an HR and Payroll system rollout.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is highly experienced in managing Subject Access Requests and can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to Subject Access Requests from receipt through to completion.
- Review, identify and collate relevant information and sensitive personal data.
- Ensure compliance with UK GDPR and Data Protection legislation.
- Redact confidential information, including third-party personal data, names, salaries and other sensitive details where appropriate.
- Liaise with HR, Payroll and other departments to gather required information.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure requests are completed within statutory deadlines.
- Support the organisation with data governance requirements following a recent cyber attack.
About You
- Proven experience handling Subject Access Requests in a busy environment.
- Strong understanding of UK GDPR, data protection legislation and SAR processes.
- Experience reviewing and redacting highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Available at short notice and able to commit to the duration of the assignment.
