Macildowie are working with this client based in North West Leicestershire to recruit a People Administrator to join their established People team on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR or People Administrator who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes real pride in delivering accurate, efficient and employee-focused support.
Joining a large, established organisation within the manufacturing and building products sector, you'll play an important role in supporting the full employee lifecycle across a multi-site workforce.
The role is heavily focused on core People administration, including contracts, employee changes, payroll information and maintaining accurate HR records. Accuracy is key, as the information you'll manage has a direct impact on employees across the business.
There will also be plenty of opportunity to identify better ways of working, including process improvements and automation.
What you'll be doing- Managing administration across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding
- Preparing contracts, contractual amendments and employee change documentation
- Processing payroll-related employee changes accurately and within deadlines
- Supporting maternity, paternity and other family leave administration
- Managing probation review administration
- Processing long-service, recognition and holiday-related changes
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR system data
- Completing Right to Work checks and ensuring compliance
- Monitoring the People inbox and responding to first-line queries
- Providing managers with guidance on established People policies and processes
- Supporting the wider People team with general HR administration
- Identifying opportunities to improve and automate administrative processes
What we're looking forYou'll ideally have previous experience working as an HR Administrator, People Administrator, HR Coordinator or People Coordinator, ideally within a busy or high-volume environment.
You'll also bring:
- Strong knowledge of core HR processes and the employee lifecycle
- Experience using HR systems and maintaining employee records
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confidence communicating with employees and managers at all levels
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- A proactive approach and the confidence to work independently
- CIPD Level 3 would be beneficial, although isn't essential
